Pastor i really appreciate the way God is doing his work through u, be blessed!

  4. I am so grateful for this testimony it has encourage me to walk on with the Finisher-God.

  5. This is such a beautiful testimony of God’s goodness. Truly He rewards those who place their hope and trust in Him! I am both challenged and encouraged by the patience and endurance exhibited during the time of testing! I think those in ministry can attest to these kinds of hardships, though not exactly of the same scale. Satan does all that he can to oppose the plan of God, for a city, for a nation, and the world. But God will always turn the attack around if we continue to hope in Him and ultimately use it to give greater blessing to His people. What an awesome God. May God continue to bless your ministry for His glory and for the advancement of the gospel of Christ. May He give all His people in these last days grace to never give up even in the most trying of times. Thank you for this post!!!

  6. I concur Pastor. That is why He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.

  7. Great commission response and dedicated service in the vineyard to present the kingdom of God in the light of HOPE.

    Dear Pastor,
Your Book Purpose Driven Church is the Best a Christian can follow, as it gives direction.
i intend to Pastor a Church and at present going through the Celebrate Recovery Programme which is so important for all believers, i would encourage all our brothers in Christ to go through the Programme and know the will of God in your lives. this programme will change the way you look at others and the way others look at you. But the best part is You will rediscover your self and find the extraordinary potential you have in Christ to then get to fulfil your Purpose in Life and then have a ministry for a Purpose Driven Church.
Thank you Pastor Rick for all the inputs, we receive and take from your Ministry at Pastors.com
God Bless You and Your Ministry

  12. Thelma A VanElden July 12, 2018 at 7:31 am

Our church in Pa had a similar experience. It was an 11:59 GOD deal where we got the property on Friday at 5:00 which was closing time. The other party was out of town and came in Monday morning with the cash. Too bad your contract was up on Friday they were told. Since then we have blessed the community with a handicap assessable playground, a mile walking trail and soccer fields. This has brought many to our congregation. I love Saddlebacks story and all you are doing.

  13. i am a pastor’s wife and have a small church. i am so interested in helping it grow. Please do send me any material that can help us grow. i have already read through the Purpose driven church and i can’t have enough of it. Am so encouraged by this e-mail from knowing that what God has started he will finish. God bless you for the good work. Eunice from Kenya

I am greatly encouraged because currently in deep in one such battles with the municipality. Thank you sir

  21. Thank you, Pastor Rick! So timely for us here at Real Life Fellowship in San Luis Obispo, California! We have been in process with the city for a year just for permits for tenant improvements to an existing property, and we’ve been roadblocked and setback again and again. Yet, God is showing us how to persevere. Costs have exceeded estimates, and we have just about exhausted our reserves with some distance yet to go. We covet your prayers, Pastor Rick, to help us get to the finish line…soon. We need the floodgates to open!

Thank you for such an encouraging, timely word! This one was for us!!!

  22. This story was so inspiring!! I’m printing it out, and hanging it on my vision board… I am in my own battle, and this was such an awesome reminder, that no matter what we go through to get there, God is ALWAYS in the midst. He will see it through to completion, we just have to continue to trust Him and have faith regardless of what it looks like in the natural. 4 years isn’t really that long, it could have been 10 or 15, but God knew you needed it now… He’s never late, and I love that about Him so much!! He’s such a good good Father! Blessings abound for Saddleback!!

    • Amen. Indeed what God starts He will finish. I have a son who has gone through many battles in a foreign country where we had sent him for university training. Through negative influence with friends my son found himself with, my son has gone through pain, brokenness and very painful abuse. But through prayers God has held my son and right now my son is at a Teen Challenge programme where we thought he was not going to finish the programme. We have prayed unceasingly for God’s mercy and grace for my son to finish what he has started in doing in my son’s life for healing, deliverance and total restoration. I believe we are at the point of a breakthrough. God is good and I trust in God. I will serve my Lord throughout my life.

This is an incredible story and a living testimony. I’m so much encouraged by this and it has lifted me to another dimension of how I should look at things that seems to be so hard and impossible and believe in God the more. Great!! I bless you team in Jesus name. Amen

  28. Deborah Lewis-Virges July 11, 2018 at 9:18 am

A special reminder that all things of God will indeed prosper in God’s timing. Some things that we spin our wheels on are simply not of God and then we wonder why they don’t come into fruition. What God ordains, starts and inspire – He will see through. Thanks for sharing such a powerful message.

Thank you for this piece. What an encouragement it is to me right now. God bless you richly!

  32. I am working on our second generation of the engineering work of our companies Marine Hydroelectric Generator. This generator and technology is a proven concept that produces electricity and clean water from ocean waves. We have been in touch with some of the government staff in Ghana. I was in my 401 class and found out this is my purpose to serve God. I need to address Rick on this as this is a solution for the worlds hunger, poverty, and disease stricken countries. To teach them how to build an economy have fresh desalinized water and electricity that is renewable, and sustainable. If this is not what God wants I would really be surprised. I am praying everyday for an audience of the right people to address. Please help Saddleback be a part of history as we spread Gods word and help all the unfortunate men, woman, and children that are starving and disease is rampantly and disgracefully killing them everyday.
