I’m so privileged to be a part of this great Christian education network. I’ve already begun making use of the opportunity. It’s my hope we’re going to stay together in this worthy business. Thanks so much Pastor Rick for your tireless effort. I will tap into your great wisdom to be a blessing to the others in the body of Christ.

  4. Thanks a million Pastor Rick for always inspiring me to be a better person in my divine calling…your great wisdom is truly a priceless treasure in my life.

  5. Ummm, Mike….he showed you the scriptures within the text. You see it and you know it. Stop trying to get attention.

  6. Great points. Thank you sir.

  7. Great points, Rick. Too bad none are in scripture. If I’m not mistaken, I think shepherds simply do the best they can as they faithfully corral their flock through preaching and teaching the Word of God. Another interesting thing about true shepherds, they guard their flock from wolves enticing them to have their best lives now by selling junk books and junk advice. That’s okay though. The wolves will receive their earthly just rewards.

    2. We Fail daily
    3. We Fail daily
    4. We Fail daily
    5. We Fail daily
    6. We Fail daily

Great points Rick. Too bad none are in scripture. Guess we’ll just have to faithfully preach and teach the “Word of God” until you’ve earned your just reward here on Earth and your junk books and junk advice finally disappear. As some comfort for you, your place will be filled just fine. You’ve produced some fine proteges.

Dear Rick! I’m in love with your inspiring messages. God bless your ministry and family.
    My knowledge has greatly improved

  13. the only statement I don’t agree with is…”everyone can be a great leader.” If we accept the premise that we are given spiritual gifts, there are many who have received the gifts of service and helps for instance. These folks are all about ACTION, helping leaders accomplish the goals, tasks, etc. My observation and conviction after 50 years in ministry is that these folks do NOT lead well. God energizes them in serving and helping, not leading. A great error is to put a strong helper-server in charge even of a committee to help-serve. Let them serve!!!

WOW! Thank you! I will be conducting a bible study next week at my job. Currently, I work as a addiction counselor. I felt a strong impression to encourage the men that they are leaders in the making despite their current condition. Your message here has been challenging to me personally both spriritual and educationally. I will be sharing some of these highlights. Thank you for the teaching ministry the Lord has grace you with.

    • James, it’s so encouraging to hear of leaders like you! May GOD touch the hearts of those in your group.

      • James, God bless you for leading a Bible study at your job. Bravo to you. Before taking these teachings to your study, I would invite you to open your Bible and open Rick’s post side by side. You won’t find any of it biblical. I mean nothing against Rick or anyone else personally. I simply would encourage anyone to take a very hard look at what they might be exposing to others. Unfortunately, the only way to make disciples is directly from the Word of God itself. Please don’t mistaken pseudo earthly success for Christ of the Bible. Again, may God bless your study. Much grace and peace to you.

  20. Wow! Great message. Thank you for your continued example and inspiration. I have learn a great amount from you. Thank you! You have the gift to teach. Aloha my friend, Cameron
