  4. Thank you Rick. I’ve gone through BA, MA, DMin, and 26 years of being a pastor, and you’re still the best single source for good resources. May your reward in heaven be great, because I know you’re not in it for earthly rewards.

    Amen,
Have a plan, stick to it, adjust slowly, have partners in the Lord, sit on the highest bleacher-and see what is happening (in your life), love the people God has passed your way, and always give God the glory-in the good times and not so good times. I thank God for the great 30 years at IBM, and their training in business and “People Management”. As a business manager, we kept our focus on our people and the business around us (what other competitors were doing). With this in mind, my life has been rewarding. God has blessed me and has used me to assist others along my way. “Do something, if it works, do more of it, if it doesn’t, then do something else, but do something!. I think it was President F.D.R.

  10. I have set my goals to spend time with God. And save money but please pray that God will help me find my own house.

    I also usually think through:
Intellectual goals: What do I want to learn?
Physical goals: How can I improve my health?
Spiritual goals: How do I deepen my relationship with God?
Social goals: How can I serve other people more effectively?

Luke says that “Jesus increased in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and Man.” I suspect that’s where you got that list.
