He said: "It's not taking them anywhere. It's making them look ugly."

He hopes that Muslims will begin to question their religion and "fix it" by rejecting the parts that call for "killing others, cutting hands, cutting legs, torturing people and asking for destruction of entire civilisations". End Quote

???  Fix it?  Rejecting Parts?  I think I've heard you say Tony that Islam and Christianity are not similar at all that taking out the killing, cutting off boy parts and torturing will fix it.

  • OK ... I've tried to edit the post without luck.  Here's the last of what I wanted to say ...???  Fix it?  Rejecting Parts? I think I've heard Tony say "Islam and Christianity are not similar at all"... I'm not sure taking out the killing, cutting off boy parts and torturing will fix it.

Depending on how young this guy is in his faith, he's probably wrestling with his roots in Islam & how to move forward. It may take some growth & maturity for him to really see the stark contrast between the two. I do agree that it's hard to "fix" a false religion, but taking all that stuff out would make it a little less barbaric. ;)
