It's going to be interesting. Biden is said to be a very good campaigner and will be good in his running mate role as "attack dog," even though McCain is a "friend." The Dems will get a lot of buzz media attention this weekend before their political convention. So, what do you think about Biden? How will he help or hurt Obama?

The owner of Chick-fil-A decided on the punishment. It is easy for us to see that correction was the primary motive. I think at best this is a positive outlook on how Christians can exercise grace and correction. What would you have done?

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that some of the facts in this editorial will not be discussed in Denver this week.

NEW HAVEN (AP) — Nine-year-old Jericho Scott is a good baseball player — too good, it turns out. The right-handed Scott has a fastball that travels about 40 miles an hour. He throws so hard that the Youth Baseball League of New Haven told his coach that Scott could no longer pitch in the league. When Jericho took the mound anyway last week, the opposing team forfeited the game, packed its gear and left, Scott’s coach, Wilfred Vidro said. Officials for the three-year-old league,...

Hallmark says 'I do' to gay marriage cards If California defeats the attempt in November to protect marriage as a union between a male and female, then look for homosexuality to descend like a flood on our nation. What's next? Bestiality? Polygamy?

I don't know if you saw Nancy Pelosi on Meet the Press this past Sunday. It was a stunning performance filled with outright misrepresentations as to the Catholic church's position on abortion. While I have my issues with RC, the point here is that the leadership is taking her on for her misstatements. I just wish evangelical leaders would take on so-called evangelicals who are telling us that the Democratic platform is more pro-life and worthy of our support. You cannot listen to BHO and...

Let's hear what you thought of McCain and Obama at the Saddleback Forum? Also, what did you think about the media coverage and understanding of evangelical voters? Did anything surprise you or change your mind?

The issue of poverty is a big issue in this election and in the church. From my perspective, it often is dealt with by on a rather superficial basis (give them money). I wrestle with it every time I am approached in a parking lot by someone asking for money or see the guy standing at the end of the exit ramp (although, come to think of it, I don't see many of these people in Columbus any more; I see much more of them in California). I used to go to New York in the 80s. There were lots of homeless...

"IF' this article is true it would seem to cast a great deal of light on Obama's concern for the poor. If this is true I have now heard all that I need and all that I am going to about his concern for the hurting and needy. It is his OWN brother! Mark

"Dogs are becoming more intelligent and are even learning morals from human contact, scientists claim. They say the fact that dogs' play rarely escalates into a fight shows the animals abide by social rules." Then what's wrong with the kids in my neighborhood?!!

Use, it's a 527 ad, but the video speaks for itself. Here's another one of interest where Obama "double speaks. btw, did you know that gays already have that right? It's called a "POA" so this is not about hospital rights or such. There's more, but those should get your blood moving.
