  1. In developing a children’s ministry program, I learned that there is a difference between using music as a transition, time filler or part of the order of service. It should be taught as ‘truly talking to Jesus through music’. A whole different mindset.
    Point 2: Worship is not just music. We are shallow in teaching this. Worship is communicating our love for Him by serving Him as we are called to do. Our faith should produce a sweet aroma of works (Romans) that communicates our love of God. Singing is only one way of worshiping God. Let’s teach that too.
    So if you call yourself a worship leader, make sure you know what your job should entail. Music ‘pastor’ might be more appropriate.
