• Great post Greg! You are spot on with all of this and what a helpful thing for pastors to be informed/reminded about on this topic. I like what you mentioned regarding highlighting content on specific pages like a “what to expect” page that can be strategically placed on a church website, but not highlighted effectively on social media. I also consult churches on these things but for web development at a company called REACHRIGHT.

    One tid bit I would add is that not only with social media being so prevalent for church communication these days but with church apps also being on the rise more now, pastors should know that an app is primarily for membership providing content specifically for them to access. Whereas your website is primarily an outreach tool for people not yet in the fold. People will not really download an app before visiting but will end up on a site about 90% of the time. We can go on and on about this one though..
