  1. I started to read this and i have to talk and I disagree, many folk are like my colleague in my story.

My sisters best friends husband goes to church, listens to many Christian sermon podcasts, says he is a Christian, has a beautifully house, wife and car an important job and has a history of being academically gifted.
I grew up in palaces but I am not very smart and i get distracted easily. But Jesus put me in a rather nice job because you know, God! soooo.. A while later he gets a similar role which includes overseeing my work and passing it through to clients. I work hard. Anyways the other week we had a project with a very short time line to complete it.
I did it in time, but one of the elements was usable but did not look ‘as usual’, to be honest yep it looked like it was done in a rush.
This guy abused me horrifically in a really weird clever word way. so i stayed back and fixed it. Then he abused me by being loudly patronizing once i had fixed it. ( summary: hairs breath away from intense tears in public)

Understand i was a monster as a child so i know evil.
If you really fear God there is no way you would hurt his creation like that, he just reacted to satisfy his emotions with no filter.

I guess what I’m trying to say is i think there is alot of souls in devastating danger because they think that they can say Jesus and then live for themselves. WOE WOE WOE!

    Rant complete,
    Benjamin out.

  2. How about a “friend” who was so deeply offended by what you did do that he decided to go snowflake on you and gather his friends to gang up on you? ESPECIALLY if he is a leader of a small group, and to even agree with a girl who tells you “Aspergers Syndrome doesn’t excuse you!” Also for him to say that she was being “moral” “uplifting” etc? Is that an example of an offense that separates close friends?

  3. My neighbors boyfriend was hurt pretty badly recently &I hadn’t seen her in awhile. She stopped over today and gave the whole run-down on what exactly happened to him. I said what was in my heart, which was “I’ll pray for you and him”. She sadly has to move away and leave her injured friend here at rehab. All of which she told me with tears in her eyes. Again, I made the statement that God will& already has everything worked according to His plan. My husband and I get in the car and he starts telling me not only did he drop hints that I should b quiet but it appeared that my neighbor was uninterested in hearing about God. I became very upset and confused because I thought it was my job to spread the Good Word about God. My husband stated that I was pushing my opinion about God onto her, which I didn’t agree. I lashed out at my husband because I was hurt, offended and confused due to him basically saying I should’ve kept quiet, which I’m still not understanding why he felt the need to tell me she was hinting around to me getting off the topic. Shouldn’t I and him be happy about spreading the Gospel to others?. I’m not sure what to do now

This blessed me richly today since I was hurt deeply by someone at my church on purpose. Thanks for helping me be wise and letting God be my defender!

  5. To be offended by a child of God is to be offended by God. Really? News flash sometimes children of God don’t act like their Father. It’s ok to be offended when someone is hurtful. What you wrote I can tell you are a pastor. It’s in your best interest and makes life easier for you if people stuff their pain inside.

Yup. Exactly. I haven’t seen one scripture verse. There are many verses that describe how we should treat each other. We should stop reading articles from people who don’t know the word. We need to read for ourselves.

      Matthew 5:21-24
21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
22 but I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.
      23 Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;
24 leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift.

Matthew 18:15-20 Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
16 But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

2 Thessalonians 3:6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us

That is so right, I love church and my pastor is solid, never compromises the Word. However one man there has a wife and family who refuse to attend church, and he seems to think he’s single when at church, maybe its just my opinion but I don’t want him coming around me. I cant explain why I feel this way, God forgive me but I don’t want to shake his hand either, He can’t sing and pastor has him up there singing songs that we never heard of, one song he had to explain to us what he was talking about, it was so odd. however pastor tells us he only likes the old traditional songs [me too] I actually got up and left church the other night because of him. Everyone else I love.

  6. “To be offended by a Child of God is to be offended by God?”

Pretty sure that’s not in the Bible. Yikes.

easy you turn to them and treat them nicely it’s actually how i got some atheists to stop responding to me (i did actually mean those nice things i did)

  8. I was just commenting yesterday to my husband that Christians need to spend less time pointing our each others faults and differences, and more time praying for and acting on the behalf of the unsaved! We don’t need to be offended by each other! We need to be secure in who we are in Christ and get about His business!
