    I feel safe in saying that I’ve been guilty of all of the above. When I look at the list you laid out, I’ll bet that most of the time any combination of 2 excuses above are at play. For example,”I’m too comfortable” and “I don’t want to” may hold hands over certain situations.

    Personally, I find these more as opportunities to think about what the Father would will for me to do, whatever the situation. My mind drifts to Christ sweating drops of blood pleading with the Father, and despite how he felt, he managed, “nevertheless, let thy will be done.” And the rest is history, and praise God for that!
